I’m always on the lookout of fun activities to do when travelling that give me a little insight into the local culture. When I met Lily from Rivera’s Kitchen Tulum at the World Travel Market at the end of last year ahead of our upcoming trip to Tulum, I knew it was meant to be. So, when we arrived in Mexico, Lily welcomed us into her home and showed us how to cook her Nana’s favourite dishes from Oaxaca. I hope you enjoy this week’s very special vlog!

Until next time, safe travels.

Mexican cuisine is the best – some might think I’m weird, but I love the Chapulines 🙂

Lol, no way! I couldn’t bring myself to put them in my mouth. Si, in particular, seemed to love them. You saw him chomping along in the clip. He’s definitely my braver other half 🙂
