Having just returned from our final trip to Italy to plan our destination wedding, and with my own hen do fast approaching, I’ve got the ultimate destinations for a memorable hen do on my mind. I’m sure my bridesmaids will agree, it can be quite a lot of pressure choosing the perfect destination to celebrate your besties passage from singleton to newlywed. No trip to Saint Tropez is complete without dining at the exclusive Le Club 55. Since the restaurant first opened its doors in the mid-1950s, it has been welcoming the rich and famous. The relaxed party atmosphere is infectious and the food is fresh and delicious.
Saint Tropez has loads of great beach clubs, boutique shopping and fantastic dining options to spoil the bride to be.
Hvar is also a super fun and glam beach destination to head to with great nightlife and beautiful beaches. The picturesque 13thcentury town has a walled fortress overlooking the port below. Much of the action takes place here with many boutiques, cocktail bars and restaurants to choose from, alongside the water’s edge.
Hula Hula is probably the most infamous party on the island. The après-beach club has a great line-up of DJ’s mixing soulful tunes as the sun sets into the Adriatic Sea.
There’s loads to do in Hvar. Hike up to Spanjola Fortress with a chilled bottle of rosé to watch the sunset. Or, rent scooters and head inland taking in the gorgeous scenery of olive groves and lavender fields, along the coast, to the islands wine region.

There are some fantastic markets to be found too. El Rastro is held weekly on Sunday mornings. You’ll find a myriad of items on offer including some amazing clothes and trinkets.
A short half hour drive away from the city, you will find a chic designer outlet village, Las Rozas Village, with over 100 stores to scour.
And for those looking for some more traditional items to take home, why not visit iconic Casa de Diego for a beautiful handcrafted fan? Or, head to Capas Seseña to check out their collection of chic capes.
Gourmands will be spoilt for choice. Mantequerías Bravo, open since 1931, has a wonderful array of Spanish wines and artisan cheeses, delicious ham, extra-virgin olive oils and coffee.

With reasonable transfer times from Geneva (approximately 3 hours), this high-altitude resort is not only picturesque, but has some fantastic slope side party options.
La Folie Douce sees some of the world’s best DJ’s play throughout the season alongside some truly flamboyant entertainers and dancers. It’s hard not to get swept up in the hedonistic champagne spraying party in the crisp mountain air, underneath the warmth of the French Alps sun.
And during the summer months enjoy a variety of action-packed activities including canyoning, rock climbing, white water rafting, mountain biking and hiking.

San Sebastián is the ultimate destination for lovers of great food and wine. Overlooking the charming Bay of Biscay, at the foot of Spain’s Basque country, you will find a mecca of pintxos bars. These delicious bite sized snacks are absolutely heavenly.
Whilst nearby Bilbao boasts three of Spain’s Michelin starred restaurants. Making it the city with the most Michelin stars per square meter in the world.
And only a couple of hours away, wine lovers will discover the infamous Rioja region, with over 600 wineries to choose from!
